It seems like it was just yesterday that I was hunting for Easter eggs around Concord Covenant's premise with Josh, Drew, Rebekah, Rachel, and others.
This is an interesting weekend for me because I was born 16 years ago as of yesterday, on an Easter Sunday. This is also the first Easter that I didn't dye eggs. Everyone but me in my family was in and out of the house this week so there was no one to dye eggs with. And dying eggs by myself seemed depressing and pathetic.
But the Easter Bunny did visit us this morning. We were up early, at 5:15, to drive to the church my mum preaches at which is an hour and a half away. The bunny no chocolate this year. This I requested though, because the chocolate industry is loaded with slave labor, so until that get clears up I'll try to stick to no chocolate or Free Trade.
Tomorrow I go back to school after Spring Break, my birthday, and Easter. pooh. The good news is that there are only 40 days left until summer break. Its kind of Biblical: 40 days left after Easter.

And you had the Easter story told to you with plastic eggs containing spices, a chalice, a rope, etc, the last one of which was empty.
That still happens.
