Good for you, Colbert.

Stephen Colbert is, or course, a controversial figure.  But no matter what you believe, chances are that deep down you think he's funny.  He is funny, charming, and good natured (unlike Jon Stewart) and because of this he is a very popular person.  It made me happy to see that he is doing a week of shows from Iraq with his normal audience replaced by the men and women in the U S Armed Services.  There were appearances by John McCain and President Obama as well as General Odierno.

Stewart went to my alma mater, W&M. Insiders tell me he was a clever but miserable bastard there, too.

Haha. I don't understand him. Have you seen the episode where he is "interviewing" Cramer and ends up scolding him like a nanny? Toward the end of the show Stewart said to Cramer regarding the economy something along the lines of "This is not a f***ing joke". Besides sounding pretty hypocritical, he sounded mean. I think that he made a big misjudgment when he decided to go into combat.
