Summer Laziness

Now that school is out, I get to finally sink into the slow summer life.  It was a pretty grueling year, what with AP US history and pre-calc at the end.  Normally I'm fine at math but pre-calc proved to be a bit of a challenge so I got an A-.  Oh well.  Before this trimester, I was 14th in my class of 370-something, so it may go down a little bit.  On next years' AP (advanced placement- counts as college credit) schedule for me is AP English and AP Government.  Apparently English is mainly reading a lot and writing essays (no problem), and government is WAY easier than AP US history.  Also I love history/government type classes, so I'm a little bit excited.

Along with taking AP English next year comes with some summer reading and writing.  The books are the Iliad, the Odyssey, and the Inferno, all of which I've already read.  I will reread them because the first two I read in fifth grade and because I enjoyed them the first time.  There are also large packets that we must complete in order to get into the class.

Besides this, I'm thinking about applying for a job.  It is a bit late, but maybe some place would want me.  I do have my violin student for a trickle of revenue, but it is a very small trickle indeed.  Daddy wants a new iPod.  By "Daddy" I mean myself and by "iPod" I'm thinking maybe a iPod Touch.  The cost of iPhones just significantly dropped, but the Touches stayed the same.
